  • An escape room is a real life puzzle/mystery solving game. You and a team of friends work together to solve the puzzles and escape the room in 60 minutes or less.

  • Our escape rooms are great for gamers, tourists, and locals alike. Players don’t need any specialized knowledge to complete an escape room. All ages are welcome, ages 6 and under are free. Babies and toddlers are welcome but must be in a stroller or on someones person at all times for safety purposes. Some games have age recommendations based on content.

  • Sure! At Center City Escape we hate to be without our belongings too, feel free to bring them with you and into the escape room!

  • Yes! We are on the basement level B but there is an elevator and all of our rooms except Sleeping Spirits are accessible.

  • No! Please do not show up to your game drunk or high because we can’t allow you to play and that no fun for any of us!

  • Probably. Our rooms are considered very large in the escape room world and are most likely to be big enough, and no one is ever actually locked in but consider your own situation and plan accordingly.

  • Nope! You are never actually locked in- you know, safety and stuff.

  • We have a mix of horror, scary, and not scary at all games. We DO NOT have live actors so even in our scary/horror games no person will be in the game or jump out at you. If you have questions about the game that may be best for your group feel free to give us a call! 215-647-2007

  • Nope! We are Downtown Philadelphia’s private booking only escape room. The price is still per person with a minimum ticket purchase requirement to book. This opens up the opportunity for families with kids to enjoy the escape room experience together and cuts down on the risk of mixed groups not meshing well. We believe this new arrangement will add a great amount of value to our customers overall experience. If you have any questions about the minimum booking requirement or how private booking works please feel free to call 215-647-2007. The minimum number of tickets can be purchased online to reserve the time and the remaining tickets can be paid for by the other group members in person at time of play.
